With the development of the times and fashion, nowadays almost everyone has more than one pair of jeans. The main raw material for jeans is various types of denim. With the development of modern industrial technology and clothing, any textile fabric with the characteristics of comfortable, casual, durable, and worn-out style traditional jeans is now referred to as denim. From this, different raw materials are derived to produce various styles of denim. Today, I will share with you my understanding and classification of denim fabric.
First, press theJeansIf divided by weight:
Firstly, lightweight denim fabric, which generally weighs less than 10 amperes, is also the main raw material for spring and summer clothing.
Secondly, medium-sized denim fabric, weighing between 10-13 amperes, is suitable for making jeans for autumn.
Thirdly, those over 13 amps are called heavy-duty denim, and heavy-duty denim fabric is very wear-resistant and durable.
If denim is divided by color:
Firstly, it is our most common color scheme, which is the primary color produced in the first pair of jeans. Blue is also the main color scheme of denim, and 50% of jeans are in this color scheme.
Secondly, variegated denim fabric. Fashion trendsetters pursue unique colors that are different from others, so denim has also given rise to many unique colors. During the production of mixed color jeans, vulcanized dyes are used to dye various colored denim fabrics, and then washed and processed to bring different personalized effects, bringing more fashionable colors to the jeans.
Thirdly, dyed denim fabric is made by adding regular colored yarns to the blue dyed warp sand. A denim fabric interwoven with natural warp yarn, and dyed denim can be added in several colors to a pair of pants.
Fourthly, there are also jeans that are dyed using our raw fabric woven from our original yarn, which can be used to create a uniform and layered color for a pair of pants.
If classified by fabric organization:
Firstly, twill denim is our most common and primitive fabric, which can create rows of diagonal stripes on the fabric surface through a special weaving method. It is this weaving method that makes jeans more durable and wear-resistant, because it breaks a single strand of yarn on the surface, and a single strand of yarn pulls on the bottom, preventing the denim from puncturing due to the broken yarn.
The second is plain denim fabric. Plain weave means that warp and weft yarns are arranged equally and interwoven with each other. Generally, plain weave fabrics will appear in lightweight denim fabrics with a current of less than 10 amps, as this weaving method can make denim lighter and thinner.
Thirdly, raised denim fabric. A denim fabric woven using raised stripes.
Fourthly, jacquard denim fabric. The denim blue warp yarn is woven using a jacquard weaving machine using different weaving methods. Various patterns, geometric shapes, letters, flower shapes, etc. are woven on different styles of fabric.
If classified by raw materials:
Firstly, pure cotton denim is also a traditional denim fabric. It is made of 100% pure cotton yarn, so the feel is very soft and comfortable, but the disadvantage is that it is not wear-resistant.
Secondly, denim fabric with different sizes: warp or weft yarns are made using two or more different yarn configurations to produce irregular stripes.
Thirdly, blended denim fabric incorporates various chemical fibers into the warp yarn, adding various special functions to the denim fabric. For example, weaving elastic yarn with elastic spandex as the core into denim fabric with elasticity in the warp or weft direction; Adding filament, silk, and silk to produce Tencel denim fabric, with a good hand feel and natural drooping. The weft yarn is made of strong twisted yarn, which uses its internal twisting force to produce wrinkled denim fabric. The base yarn is made of plush yarn to produce volcanic rock denim fabric that heats up in winter.
After the finished product of denim fabric, different processes can be added to achieve different functions and effects, such as mercerization, hair removal, desizing, shrinking, softening, coloring, plucking, and compounding. Technology is constantly advancing, production processes are constantly improving, and the category of denim fabric is constantly updating, constantly satisfying human ambition to pursue fashion and beauty in clothing.
